Sweet Charity
This Tony Award-winning musical first opened on Broadway in 1966 with choreography by Bob Fosse, was revived in 2005 and spawned an Academy Award-nominated movie in 1969 starring Shirley McLaine. Featuring well-known Broadway hits like "Hey Big Spender," "If They Could See Me Now," "The Rhythm of Life" and "I Love to Cry at Weddings," Sweet Charity is sure to bring you "fun, laughs, good times!"

Members of Birmingham's Young Professional Organizations can enjoy discounted tickets and special drink offers to the first Friday performance of Sweet Charity. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM.

Join our "Charity," Morgan Smith and other Red Mountain Theatre Company’s (formerly Summerfest) Youth Programs alumni for a special cabaret concert on Tuesday, October 18, at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20 and proceeds go to benefit the James Hatcher Founder’s Fund, which provides scholarships to RMTC’s educational programs.
