Dress Circle Society

Founded in 1999, the Dress Circle Society is the official support organization for Red Mountain Theatre Company. The mission of the Dress Circle Society is to promote Red Mountain Theatre Company through support of education and outreach, fundraising and musical productions.

Each year, the Dress Circle Society hosts events to give theatre patrons a chance to get actively involved in the RMTC community, including fall and spring membership parties and the annual Gala.

There are several ways to participate in this exciting volunteer effort. You automatically show support by joining the Dress Circle. In addition, members are encouraged to buy season tickets to Red Mountain Theatre Company and to the annual Gala. You can help financially with donations to special RMTC initiatives. This year we have an exciting 30th Year Anniversary Fund!

Along with financial support, you can share your time, expertise and experience, assisting with various committees, projects and events. A list of volunteer opportunities is included below.

James Hatcher Founder’s Fund
Scholarships for Aspiring Artists

Building bridges...inspiring dreams...creating a future

It is with great pride that we announce that the James Hatcher Founder's Fund, launched in 2004 at a benefit in New York City, has successfully reached its goal of 100 commitments of $1,000 through the Diamond Club Campaign under the leadership and vision Patty McDonald and Robert Raiford.

The more than $100,000 raised through Diamond Club contributions will be used to fund in perpetuity the James Hatcher Founder’s Fund Scholarships for Red Mountain Theatre Company Performing Ensemble Members. This competitive scholarship program awards $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000 to three senior year Performing Ensemble members.

In addition to the inaugural Diamond Club members, we are grateful to the many individuals who have contributed to the James Hatcher Founder's Fund over the years through honoraria, memorials and other special donations.

Now that your support has helped make this a reality, the RMTC Board of Directors and the James Hatcher Founder's Fund Committee are exploring new ways in which the Fund can support other initiatives that will help talented young people from all walks of life nurture their artistic gifts.

We hope that you will continue your financial gifts to make these dreams come true as the Fund continues to grow, providing financial assistance for students in our Youth & Education Programs throughout the year.

Gifts in Tribute

A gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special person or occasion is a truly meaningful way to support Red Mountain Theatre Company. Donations may be made in any amount.

Notification of your kind gesture will be sent to the honoree or family member. You will also receive a letter documenting your tax-deductible contribution.

When making a gift in tribute, please include the contact information for the honoree or family member. Please also indicate if your gift is intended for any special purpose.

Matching Gifts

Your gift to Red Mountain Theatre Company may be worth even more!

Many community-minded companies will match contributions from their employees - doubling or even tripling your gift at no extra cost to you.

RMTC credits matching gifts to the initiating donor, giving you the additional benefits associated with your new level of giving.
