10 performers will have the opportunity to receive a coaching on their vocal audition material from multi-Tony Award winning Jason Robert Brown.  To facilitate each performer’s success a pre-screening and a complimentary private coaching with RMTC Executive Director, Keith Cromwell will be required for all interested singers prior to admission.   The screening will happen on stage at the RMTC Cabaret, Thursday, January 15th from 4-6.  There is a tuition of $100 for those accepted to work with Mr. Brown. Many performers find great value in observing masters work with other people.  Jason Robert Brown is a superb coach who teaches the whole room, not just the person on stage.  Observing the master class is open to everyone.  The cost is $25.  To register, visit

JASON ROBERT BROWN is a Tony award winning composer, director and performer – best known for his dazzling scores to renowned musicals, including The Last Five Years, 13, and Songs for a New WorldHe has been hailed as “one of Broadway’s smartest and most sophisticated songwriters since Stephen Sondheim” (Philadelphia Inquirer), and the New York Times refers to Jason as “a leading member of a new generation of composers who embody high hopes for the American musical.”  A film version of his Off-Broadway musical “The Last Five Years” will be released later this year, starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan.  Jason Robert Brown won the Tony award for Best Score for Parade in 1998 and again this past year The Bridges of Madison County.
