Director of Development

The Director of Development is responsible for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of all contributed support for Red Mountain Theatre in accordance with budget goals for each fiscal season.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelors or higher college degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and implementation skills

The Development Associate works to support Red Mountain Theatre fundraising and cultivation activities, in accordance with the Development Plan. The Development Associate works to fulfill daily administrative, organizational, logistical, and technical needs to meet the annual budget goals for each fiscal season.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of work experience and Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer software skills
  • Flexible schedule outside normal business hours

Chief Financial Officer

As a Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer and more than 40-year-old regional theatre, RMT is seeking an energetic, versatile individual for the position of Chief Financial Officer to support our mission of creating powerful theatre experiences that enrich, educate, and engage audiences – nourishing the human spirit, fostering valuable life skills, and cultivating a deeper sense of community.

Forming part of the senior executive management team, the CFO provides leadership and strategic direction for the overall financial functions and forecasting, budget management and the establishment of the accounting practices of Red Mountain Theatre in adherence to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.  The CFO is also responsible for the management of RMT human resource functions and IT resources.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of professional experience in financial management and accounting
  • Bachelors or higher college degree
  • Established proficiency in managing legal contracts, audit procedures and compliance, budget analysis, risk management and a broad knowledge of insurance and retirement plans
  • Ability to translate financial concepts and effectively collaborate with staff and board members who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds

Costume Assistant

  • Detail-oriented person who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment?

As a Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer and more than 40-year-old regional theatre, RMT is seeking an energetic, versatile individual for the position of Costume Assistant to support our mission of creating powerful theatre experiences that enrich, educate, and engage audiences – nourishing the human spirit, fostering valuable life skills, and cultivating a deeper sense of community.

The Costume Assistant will assist the Costume Supervisor and/or Costume Designer in the planning, creation, implementation, and execution of the costume design to support the artistic vision of RMT productions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in costume construction, fittings, and alterations.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a professional theatrical costume shop.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Production Stage Manager

As a Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer and more than 40-year-old regional theatre, RMT is seeking an energetic, versatile individual for the position of Production Stage Manager to support our mission of creating powerful theatre experiences that enrich, educate, and engage audiences – nourishing the human spirit, fostering valuable life skills, and cultivating a deeper sense of community.

The Production Stage Manager is responsible for the supervision of all stage management teams and serves as the Stage Manager on various productions throughout the season. An ideal candidate would be someone who communicates clearly and efficiently, manages confidential information with integrity, and someone who can lead employees to get work done efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of Stage Management experience in professional theatrical organizations.
  • Experience forming and managing relationships with visiting artists, staff, and over-hire.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.

Over Hire Pool (Part-Time, Temporary Positions)

RMT is currently accepting resumes to fill paid Over Hire positions for all production departments. Positions range in length of commitment from a single work call (4 Hours) to the full run of a production. Available positions include Carpenter, Painter, Dresser, Stitcher, Sound Technicians, Electricians, Spot Light Operators, Stage Crew, Load-In & Strike Crews. Education Desk Host

The Education Desk Host is responsible for greeting and directing guests using the Education Center as well as maintaining a safe working environment for Teaching Artists, Students, and adult participants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepping rooms for classes or rentals
  • Greeting visitors
  • Maintaining a clean working environment including halls, bathrooms, and classrooms

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or Equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
