Marketing Manager

As a Tony Award winning Broadway Producer and more than 40-year-old regional theatre, RMT is seeking an energetic, versatile individual for the position of Marketing Manager to support our mission of creating powerful theatre experiences that enrich, educate, and engage audiences – nourishing the human spirit, fostering valuable life skills, and cultivating a deeper sense of community.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of RMT’s marketing campaigns, public relations, and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and organization skills as well as the ability to work well as a team and under pressure are a must
  • B.S. in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields preferred
  • 3-5 years of marketing or similar organizational experience required.
  • Strong computer skills ( Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Adwords, Google My Business, Social Media Platforms, Basic Photoshop, photography, HTML skills
  • Able to lift 30lbs

Assistant Stage Manager

As a Tony Award winning Broadway Producer and more than 40-year-old regional theatre, RMT is seeking an energetic, versatile individual for the contract position of Assistant Stage Manager.

The ASM will assist the Stage Manager in creating and maintaining all documentation during the rehearsal process and run of a performance. The ASM will be the point person backstage during performances and will assure the continuity and quality of the production.

Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience as an SM or ASM.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.

Technical Director

As a Tony Award-winning Broadway Producer and more than 40-year-old regional theatre, RMT is seeking an energetic, versatile individual for the position of Technical Director to support our mission of creating powerful theatre experiences that enrich, educate, and engage audiences–nourishing the human spirit, fostering valuable life skills, and cultivating a deeper sense of community.

The Technical Director is responsible for the daily technical operations of the theatre including all scenic and paint construction, installation, and maintenance. In addition, the TD is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment in the scene shop, and other venues associated with all RMT productions. The TD reports directly to the Director of Production and is responsible for the hiring and on boarding of all scenic team members. An ideal candidate communicates clearly and efficiently, manages multiple productions in different phases of completion, and can successfully lead employees to complete their tasks efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of Technical Direction experience in professional theatrical organizations.
  • Experience forming and managing relationships with visiting artists, staff, and over-hire.
  • Advanced knowledge of ACAD or Vector works.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

The Lead Teaching Artist is responsible for teaching a wide variety of arts education programs in the community and on campus, assisting with curriculum development, and facilitating the success of RMT contract teachers.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Theatre or Education
  • 3 years teaching and/or administration of arts programs for young people (or comparable experience)
  • Diverse expertise in the theatrical arts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Ability to prioritize, identify critical issues and work towards results
  • Ability to work with multiple curriculums, classes, and camps proactively and professionally
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle

Development Manager

The Development Manager is responsible for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual contributed support (both cash and in-kind) in accordance with annual budget goals for each fiscal season.

Over Hire Pool (Part-Time, Temporary Positions)

RMT is currently accepting resumes to fill paid Over Hire positions for all production departments. Positions range in length of commitment from a single work call (4 Hours) to the full run of a production. Available positions include Carpenter, Painter, Dresser, Stitcher, Sound Technicians, Electricians, Spot Light Operators, Stage Crew, Load-In & Strike Crews. Teaching Artist

RMT is looking to expand its current roster of Teaching Artists. Teaching Artist responsibilities range from class to class, and can be catered to your skillset. We are looking for those who can spearhead creating lesson plans for dance, acting, musical theatre, improv, tech, design, and everything in between! For less-experienced instructors, we also offer opportunities to hone your skills and learn to translate performance experience to the classroom!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create lesson plans based on a curriculum provided by the Education Team
  • Engage students through the process of acquiring and applying new skills
  • Inspire the next generation of theatre artists!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Drama, Education, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience in performance or teaching
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Great ability to connect with kids

Education Desk Host

The Education Desk Host is responsible for greeting and directing guests using the Education Center as well as maintaining a safe working environment for Teaching Artists, Students, and adult participants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepping rooms for classes or rentals
  • Greeting visitors
  • Maintaining a clean working environment including halls, bathrooms, and classrooms

  • High school diploma or Equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
