Red Mountain Theatre continues to bring the best of both local and national talent to the Birmingham stage at our new Arts Campus conveniently nestled in the Parkside District in Downtown Birmingham. We are not only a source of incredible entertainment, we're also the perfect venue for your next event, whether you have 10 guests or 400! Complete with two theatres, a grand lobby with two full service bars, and multiple rehearsal rooms; we have the perfect space for any event.
Our Spaces
RMT Mainstage
Seating for up to 455 people in the audience for performances. The stage can fit 150 people seated or 200 reception style.
Best for: Conventions, presentations with large audiences or high technical need
Discovery Theatre
Seating for up to 139 people in the audience for performances.
Best for: Smaller performances/presentations, musical events, breakout speakers
Grand Lobby
Seating for up to 200 people or 400 reception style.
Best for: Weddings, conventions, luncheons, mingling
Patron Bar
Full service bar
Best for: Corporate happy hours, conventions, post-luncheon libations
Keys on 3rd Lounge
Seating for up to 30 people or 50 reception style.
Best for: Small parties, meetings with food and drink
Education Lobby
Seating for up to 40 or 100 reception style.
Best for: Weddings, parties, convention areas, mingling
Rehearsal Spaces
Rehearsal 2 has seating for up to 70 or 100 reception style. Rehearsal rooms 3, 4 and 5 all have seating for up to 30 or 40 reception style. Rehearsal 3 is the only rehearsal space featuring a kitchenette.
Best for: Workshops, breakout sessions, meetings, classes
